道の駅の真ん中を奈良井川の清流が流れ、美しい総桧造りの太鼓橋を渡ると緑豊かな水辺公園が広がります。駐車場は国道沿いのほか水辺公園側にもあり、公園側に情報スペースとトイレが設置されています。
